Soft, sweet and honey-like, with an earthy, woody base. Copaiba balsam is steam distilled from the resin of Copaifera langsdorffii, a tree native to South America. It is one of the mildest-smelling resin oils, and its quiet sweetness helps hold lighter scents in a blend.
